Coat of arms of Vilnius district municipality

The red field depicts a silver knight in armour on a black horse, holding a silver spear with golden lance in his right hand. A blue shield with a double golden cross hangs on the left shoulder. The bridle, saddle, short gundog and harness of a horse are blue, while the saddle loop, the cincture, the edge of the gundog, horseshoes and the metal parts of the horse’s outfit are gold.

The standard of the coat of arms was designed by the artist Arvydas Každailis.
