Your guide to the Lithuanian labour market: rights, rules, and realities

Vilnius district municipality and Global citizen academy are inviting foreign-born youth (16-29 years old) from  Vilnius District Municipality to participate in a free seminar exploring the Lithuanian labour market, employment rights, and key legal aspects relevant to job seekers.

During the seminar, participants will learn about their rights and responsibilities in the Lithuanian labour market, gain insights into essential legal considerations when seeking employment and hear real-life stories from foreign-born residents who have successfully established their own businesses in Lithuania.

Date and time: 15 November (Saturday), 10:00–13:00

Venue: Vilnius District Municipality, Rinktinės str. 50, Vilnius

Target group: Foreign-born youth aged 16–29 living in Vilnius District Municipality

Speakers: Laura Juodakytė (lawyer specialising in employment and migration issues) and Princess Benido, owner of the OBA African store

This seminar is organised as part of the Citizenship School within the framework of the international project “Citizenship Academy: Building Inclusive and Diverse European Societies through the Civic Participation of Young Migrants”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
