Seimas has adopted amendments to the Law on the State Language, under which it has been agreed that, from 2026, information on goods and services must be provided and labelled in the official language.
Companies and private entities selling goods or providing services in Lithuania, as well as other organisations and their branches, will have to provide direct services to the public in the official language at the level of proficiency in the Lithuanian language set by the Government.
